Highly recommend. I’ve tried a lot of grip tapes on firearms including “camo form” and hockey tape, but Goon tape is by far the best. It has excellent adhesion, the perfect amount of stretch and the width is perfect. Not too wide or too thin making wrapping various parts of firearms a breeze. The stretch is perfect for finger grooves on handles, securing light pressure switches around rails and getting around it between difficult places. Glad I found this tape it’s the only kind I use now. Looking forward to more color options though

A very simple upgrade for this G43X. But the Goon tape offers exactly the kind of grip customization and feel that more expensive purpose sold tapes may or may not offer. I don't particularly like applying decals to my weapons and so being able to use tape and put in texture and padding exactly where I need it is nice. Baseball bat, Hockey stick, or gun grip Goon tape delivers in this respect. Plus you get a ton on a roll, more than enough to make adjustments or replace if it ever gets worn out.
Incidentally I also used it to reinforce a wooden dowel rod that my kid is using for small ball batting practice. Turning $3 worth of wood into a very grippy and legit training tool for baseball. So high quality tape like this can always find amazing uses.

For now, I’ve used it on my concealed carry pistol grip to stop it from snagging on my shirt. The tape is smoother than textured polymer, but my grip isn’t slipping when I shoot.

I love my Staccato and CZ Shadow Carry, but admittedly the grip on bare skin when I conceal get a little rough after a few hours. This tape with a pass up and down the grip fixed everything. Still grippy, but now much more comfortable. Price was fair and I have plenty for whatever else I find needs the treatment. Solid product, y’all.

What I like about this product is each color provides a different friction and feel on the bear hand...
For shooters that spend time dumping a lot of rounds down range this is much easier on your hands ...Goon tape will allow you to shoot for longer periods of time without wearing out your hands..

I recently got a few rolls to keep and throw onto whatever firearms I felt like. Goes great on all of them, it looks good, feels good, seems like it'll last well. And if it doesn't last as long as you want it to, the rolls are huge so you'll be able to re-do it multiple times if needed. Will buy more in the future

I have a new air soft spring pump shotgun. The break-in period is 100-200 shots. The forend is plastic and slippery, making it harder to keep a good grip on during CQB runs. Goon tape is a great product. It feels soft, looks good, and provides a great grip. Now I feel confident that I’ll get a good grip every pump. I can just worry about bad guys.

Purchased some Goon tape on a recommendation from a friend to thicken up my frame grip instead instead of spending hundreds on a new grip module for my sig p320. Whata' ya know.. When you need some grip that just won't slip, get the OG raid tape and let 'er rip!! Works great for your EDC piece, on your rifle, or even on your fishing rod. You're only limited by your imagination. It even works as an effective noise suppressor on your girlfriend or wife (in doing so you assume full responsibility for the results of the use of raid tape for this purpose).

I really like the texture and the aesthetic of the tape. I’m using the tape to hold/cover some parts on an AR-15 rifle, and it helps a lot. My only complaint is that the edges of the tape tend to curl a bit, leaving the sticky underside exposed where it is being handled. 4/5, will order again and recommend.

Amazing product. For myself carrying a glock 17 AIWB down here in kentucky with the weather being so humid the tape makes it much easier to hold onto during bill drills and other strings of fire. Also the thank you on the paper backing of the sticker that came with tape was an amazing touch. Truly makes it feel like youre doing buisness with people who care about you rather than other companies that feel like a storefront that just have a person attatched to them. 10/10 would buy again.

Tape felt good! Only thing is from a business standpoint point, level up the packaging because some of the tape glue got smudged and was around the side of the tape.

As a competition and recreational pistol shooter, here is my humble opinion on this grip tape;
1. This is slightly different than hockey tape. Little grippier with dry hands and no residue when removed. Minimal but noticeable.
2. Used it on my G17 Gen 3. Application was easy. Cleaned the grip with 70% IA, air dried, applied incrementally for tight feel with no gap due to the finger grooves. It contoured well around the groves, which is an A+.
3. Gen 3s are smooth with no serious texture. I also have a stippled grip and one with skateboard tape and here is my thoughts. Stippling is additional cost, ware down upon extensive use and need to be redone. Skateboard tape are aggressive, which is great for competition, but it spoils you rotten. Its not ideal for EDC against your skin, so training with skateboard tape and relying your life with a none skateboard tap grip feels foreign and inconsistent. Skateboard is rough on hands and torn mine pretty good. Aggressive skateboard and heavy Stippling don't have any give, meaning if I draw with a poor grip, they are not as forgiving in correcting the purchase as something a little smoother as tape.
3. Consistency is everything. Run your grips the same. This tape is comfortable for EDC, dry hands, wet hands, competition and combat. I shoot all Gen 3s and this is my solution to be consistent.
4. These tapes do ware out. Remove it, clean and reapply. That's it. They are cheap and plenty available.
5. I highly recommend this tape for Gen 3s or any pistols with smooth grips. You Gen 6 guys are fortunate. The more wet your hands gets, the slipperier these smooth grips will get. The tape assist with this problem very effectively. I am going to put it on my EDC, competition and nightstand pistol. Stay prepped, stay strapped and don't forget to dryfire often.
